JOYDANCE is a specialized academy dedicated to K-POP idol audition preparation.
Operating since 2003, we have built a 23-year track record in idol audition
training. Our preparation flow is structured around five stages:
Consultation → Level Test → Customized Training → Performance Review →
Feedback Management.
Idol auditions are not evaluated on dance and vocals alone. At JOYDANCE,
we design the preparation process around the elements that actually matter
in auditions — facial expression in front of the camera, 30-second
self-introduction, stage movement, the first 3 seconds of your intro,
pronunciation and breathing, and finding your own style.
JOYDANCE operates branches nationwide across Korea, as well as locations
in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan — each following the same audition preparation
standards and training system.

Since its founding in 2003, JOYDANCE has operated as a specialized idol audition academy. The artists below represent a continuous record of contract signings and debuts built on a proven training system.
These names are not simply a list — they represent 20 years of consistent results produced by JOYDANCE’s performance-focused approach.
From Gong Minji (2NE1) in 2005 and Goo Hara (KARA) in 2008, to J-Hope (BTS) in 2010, Kim Jinwoo (WINNER) in 2014, Hyungwon · I.M ·
Minhyuk (MONSTA X) in 2015, Taeyang (SF9) in 2016, Choi Yena (IZ*ONE) and Yunho · Mingi (ATEEZ) in 2018, and multiple artists in 2020 — JOYDANCE has maintained an unbroken record of producing and debuting idol artists across generations.
The record continues with Sumire (TRI.BE), Yoon Taekyung (nSSign), Yuna (Cheotsarang), Yujun (xikers), Jinhyunju (UNIS), Dohee (SAY MY NAME), Seoa (tripleS), and Lee Yunsung (BeMYBOYZ) — a lineage that extends to the present day.

2015 Debut Record Three members from the same group in one record. This is not coincidence — it is evidence that JOYDANCE's training system produces results at a team level, not just for individuals.

2020 Debut Record Three members — each from a different JOYDANCE branch (Gwangju, Incheon, Suncheon) — ended up in the same group. This is the clearest proof of what a nationwide network of branches operating under a unified training system can produce.

OYDANCE Music Academy provides students with diverse label audition opportunities every month. Through a combination of label visit auditions and joint auditions, we operate 250+ audition programs per year — giving students real experience in actual idol audition environments. JOYDANCE is a specialized academy dedicated to K-POP idol audition preparation.
Founded in 2003 and operating for 23 years, we design the preparation process based on contract and pass data accumulated over two decades.
We are not a standard lesson-based academy — we operate a preparation structure built around actual label audition evaluation criteria.
WORKSHOP
The JOYDANCE Workshop is led directly by the Head Director — with 23 years of experience in idol audition preparation.
Students receive individualized training and real-time feedback tailored to their level and goals, allowing them to address weaknesses quickly and keep their audition preparation on track.
Workshop training is structured around actual audition standards:

WHAT IS A JOINT AUDITION?
A joint audition is a live audition system where representatives from multiple labels evaluate students’ performances simultaneously.
In a single audition, students receive evaluations from several labels at once — experiencing the standards and criteria of different companies in one session.
JOYDANCE’s joint auditions are held once every three months on a regular schedule, designed with students’ preparation pace and audition fatigue in mind.
Through repeated audition experience, students can assess their own progress and sharpen their real-world performance instincts.
AUDITION
CONCERT
The audition stage where more labels watch directly.
The JOYDANCE Audition Concert is a live performance event where students from all JOYDANCE branches across the country come together on one stage.
This is not a simple recital. It is JOYDANCE’s own audition system — where label representatives attend in person and watch students perform directly.
On the actual stage, students are evaluated on performance quality, expression, and live presence simultaneously. Beyond performing in front of an audience, students have the opportunity to show their potential directly to label representatives.
The Audition Concert is JOYDANCE’s flagship real-world program — offering live performance experience, stage exposure, and direct label access all at once.

Dance class goes beyond learning choreography — it is a process of preparing how you look and present on stage.
JOYDANCE dance classes are structured to build skills progressively: from foundational movement and rhythm to body control, expression, and spatial awareness.
Precision of movement, energy management, eye contact, and stage use are trained systematically — with the goal of producing more complete and polished performances in auditions and on stage.

Vocal class is structured to develop the vocal skills needed for auditions and performances in a systematic way.
JOYDANCE vocal classes are not simply about singing along to songs. They are a training process that builds ability progressively — from the foundations of vocalization through to delivery and expressive performance.
Breathing, vocalization, pitch, rhythm, lyric delivery, and more are trained systematically — with the goal of raising the vocal standard required for stage and audition performance.
KIDS DANCE
Fun to start. Natural to grow.
JOYDANCE operates a Kids Dance class designed for children to learn in a healthy, enjoyable environment suited to their stage of development.
Kids Dance is structured so that children encountering dance for the first time can begin without pressure, in a bright and comfortable atmosphere.
JOYDANCE Kids Dance is not simply about copying movements. It is a process designed to naturally develop rhythm, physical awareness, expression, and confidence.
Moving to music, children build focus and coordination — and through stage experience and performance sessions, they gradually develop their own sense of expression.
